Inspired by the dark mythology and iconic visual language of Magic: The Gathering, Rain of Filth takes the imagery and obsessive creativity of trading card culture and reinterprets it through the lens and irreverence of contemporary bootleg fashion.

Rain of Filth is built for people whose interests don't fit neatly into one category: music fans who spend their nights at local game stores, collectors who appreciate graphic design as much as the cards themselves, and anyone drawn to the strange, the nostalgic, and the unapologetically underground. It treats fandom as a source of artistic inspiration and personal expression.

Founded by Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary, bassist of metalcore band Fit For A King, Rain of Filth grew from a life immersed in music, art, and alternative culture. In 2021, while touring with the band, Ryan’s passion for Magic: The Gathering evolved from backstage games into a global community of friendships and shared experiences. Years spent traveling the world, discovering local game stores, and connecting with players revealed a culture with its own visual identity, creative energy, and sense of belonging.

That experience sparked a vision to bring the world of the game into a different context: clothing that captures its dark fantasy and collectible appeal without being confined to traditional gaming apparel. By combining those influences with contemporary fashion and the DIY spirit of bootleg culture, Rain of Filth creates a distinct meeting point between two worlds that have always shared more DNA than they might seem to.

MORE THAN THE CULTURE

The communities that inspire Rain of Filth are part of what makes it worth building. With every purchase, a portion of the proceeds is donated to organizations like MagiKids and Extra Life, supporting initiatives that bring gaming, creativity, and play to children and communities that need them.
